Next Steps

We are committed to providing a Discipleship Track for the membership to move from ground-level discipleship to lead-level discipleship, which means to become fully functional disciples of Christ.  

The Christian Life and Service Seminars (C.L.A.S.S.) represent sixteen hours of training that equips members with the tools to progress from one level of commitment to the others.  Each seminar provides four hours of training and focuses on a particular purpose of the church. The church provides four Seminars:

C.L.A.S.S. 101

Membership: Discovering Church Membership

This seminar is sponsored by the Membership Department.  It is offered once per quarter and consists of four hours of training that enables one to discover the meaning of membership in the body of Christ in general, and the requirements for membership in the Reseda congregation in particular.  Completing the Membership Seminar 101 is a prerequisite to registration for the C.L.A.S.S. 201.

The four hours (units) of training covers the following:

C.L.A.S.S. 201

Discipleship: Discovering Spiritual Maturity

This seminar is sponsored by the Department of Maturity.  Having completed C.L.A.S.S. 101 is a prerequisite for enrollment.  C.L.A.S.S. 201 provides four hours (units) of training that equip members with tools for developing the habits of maturity. 

The Seminar is offered on a quarterly basis and covers the following:

C.L.A.S.S. 301

Ministry: Discovering Your SHAPE for Ministry

Having completed C.L.A.S.S. 201 is a prerequisite for enrollment.  C.L.A.S.S. 301 provides four hours (units) of training that enables members to identify how God has shaped them for ministry that glorifies Him.  At the Reseda church, we focus on an individual rather than an institutional approach to ministry. 

The Seminar aims exploring five factors that combine to determine how a believer is best suited to serve in ministry, which are the following:

C.L.A.S.S. 401

Missions: Discovering My Life Mission

This seminar is sponsored by the Missions Department.  Having completed C.L.A.S.S. 301 is a prerequisite for enrollment.  C.L.A.S.S. 401 provides four hours (units) of training that are aimed at enabling members to spend the rest of their lives serving their life mission.  The training and instructions provided challenge members to become lead-level disciples by becoming responsible for the development of others.
